A bar or bat mitzvah is a room with two very different crowds in it. There are thirty kids who want to be loud and take a hundred photos, and there are grandparents, aunts and family friends who flew in for this. A photo booth is one of the few things at the party that both groups actually use — and when it's run properly, the twelve-year-olds and the great-aunts end up in the same frame.

We run photo booths at b'nai mitzvah celebrations across Toronto, Thornhill, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, North York and the wider GTA. Unlimited prints, a custom template built around your theme, and a host who keeps the line moving so nobody's standing around during the horah.

What's Included

  • Unlimited prints for the whole rental

  • Free custom template design with the celebrant's name, date and your theme colours

  • Hebrew name or Hebrew date on the print if you'd like it — just send us the spelling

  • A prop collection that works for both the kids' table and the adults

  • A professional on-site host from setup through teardown

  • Digital copies of every photo delivered after the event

  • Your choice of 4x6 prints or classic 2x6 strips

Venues We Know

We set up regularly in synagogue social halls, banquet halls and hotel ballrooms across the Bathurst corridor, Thornhill, Vaughan and North York. Many of these rooms have specific rules about load-in doors, power access, and where vendors can and can't set up.

Send us your venue name when you enquire. If we've worked there we'll tell you exactly where the booth should go. If we haven't, we'll call ahead and confirm the logistics before your date rather than finding out on the night.

If your venue is kosher, we'll follow whatever the caterer and venue require. Our equipment involves no food, and we'll keep our setup clear of any catering areas.

Which Booth Works Best at a Mitzvah

360 Booth

The one the kids will queue for. Guests stand on the platform, the camera spins around them in slow motion, and the video is on their phone within seconds. At a mitzvah this is the booth that draws the crowd — expect it to be busy from the moment the dancing starts.

Classic Photo Booth

Unlimited printed strips, and the option that works best across all ages. Grandparents will use this one. It's also what makes the sign-in book work.

Glam Booth

Black-and-white studio lighting that is flattering on everyone, and it suits a formal, dressed-up evening.

Magnets & Keychains

Turns the print into a party favour guests actually keep. Popular with families who want something for guests to take home beyond a photo strip.

The Sign-In Book

This is the add-on most worth doing at a mitzvah, and the one families tell us afterwards they're glad they got. Every guest takes a photo, one strip goes in an album next to a handwritten note, and the celebrant ends up with a book of every person who was there and what they wanted to say. Ten years later it's the thing that gets pulled off the shelf.

Our host manages it during the event — keeping the album organised, making sure people actually write something, and handing it to you complete at the end of the night.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah Photo Booth Prices in Toronto

Packages start at $300. Final pricing depends on the booth you choose, how many hours you need, and your venue location across the GTA. Most mitzvahs book three hours, which covers the stretch from the start of dinner through the dancing.

Every quote is all-in. Setup, teardown, the on-site host, unlimited prints and your custom template design are included — not add-ons that appear later. Send us your date and venue and we'll come back with exact pricing the same day.

Areas We Serve

Toronto, Thornhill, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, North York, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, Oakville, Ajax and Pickering. We arrive about an hour before your start time to set up, and handle teardown after — you shouldn't have to think about us on the night.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book?

Two to three months is comfortable. Mitzvah dates cluster heavily — families book venues a year out and there are weekends where half the community is celebrating at once. If you have a date, message us and we'll tell you immediately whether it's open.

Can the print design match our theme and invitation?

Yes, and the design is free. Send us your invitation, colours, or logo and we'll build the template to match before your event. If you want the celebrant's Hebrew name on the print, send us the spelling and we'll set it exactly as you write it.

How much space do you need?

Roughly 8x8 feet and a standard outlet. The 360 booth needs more clearance so guests can move around the platform safely. Send us your venue and we'll confirm what will fit.

Will the booth work for the older guests too?

That's largely down to the host, which is why we always send one. Kids will use a booth with no encouragement. Older guests often need someone to invite them over, show them how it works and hand them a print. Ours does that all night.

Do we get the digital photos?

Every photo from the event, delivered digitally afterwards, in addition to the unlimited prints on the night.

Can you work around our schedule?

Yes. Tell us your start time and any timing you need us to work around, and we'll build the setup schedule to fit.

Check Your Date
